Pastors Leander and Lois Robinson, and their daughter LaKendria Perdue are natives of Greenville, Alabama.
Our Pastors have been successfully married for 32 years, and will celebrate their 33rd Wedding Anniversary, June 10th of this year.
They both hold a B.A. Degree in Theology from Vision Christian International College. Pastor Lee holds a B.S. Degree in Psychology
through Troy University, and Pastor Lois holds a B.S. Degree in Banking and Finance, and a Master of Business Administration Degree (M.B.A.),
through Troy University. LaKendria holds a B.S. Degree in Legal Studies, through Faulkner University and is currently pursuing her
Master of Science (M.S.) Counseling and Psychology Degree through Troy University. They are truly a family of finishers who lead by example.
They have a mandate from God to restore and build traditional marriages and families, one family
and community at a time, that will love Almighty God above all else and their neighbors as themselves.
They totally believe they owe their “allegiance to God” for saving them through Jesus Christ, and they
teach others the same. The scripture that guides their lives as well as the ministry God has given
them is: “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment.
And the second, like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other
commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31NKJV.
On December 8, 1994, God revealed this vision to Pastor Lee: “I see fathers turning and returning
to the Lord in large numbers and taking their God given places in the home and church with their
wives and children alongside them. I further see a local church filled with multi-races working
side-by-side in the fear of the Lord. I see them full of the Holy Spirit and fully clothed in the
armor of the Lord from inside out. They are fully equipped with the word of God and reclaiming their
neighborhoods for God. I see them as “Covenant Warriors” standing tall for God with one purpose, and
that is to please God and to do His will. I see people full of integrity and godly character who love
God and His word, and who hunger and thirst after His righteousness. I envision “Covenant Warriors”
fighting the good fight of faith every day and occupying until the Lord returns. I see them whole
Spirit, Soul, and Body.”
On September 30, 1994, Pastor Robinson officially retired from the US Air Force after 21 years
of faithful and honorable service, and in October 1995 Pastor Lois resigned from her job as a
budget analyst at Fort Bragg Army Post in North Carolina to obey the call of God. They left
Fayetteville, NC on Friday, October 13, 1995, and headed for Greenville, AL where they co-founded
Covenant Warriors Christian Center. The vision of ministry became a reality as the church was
officially launched on January 3, 1996. The church slogan, “THE FAMILY IS KEY AT CWCC” bespeaks
the heart from which all ministry is directed.
A FAMILY OF FINISHERS!
"And You Shall Be known as the House of Finish", says the Lord.
